Your new LinkedIn banner, headline and Featured

Five options. Pick one number and use that option's banner, headline and Featured tile together. Every option sends people to the tool you've already built, your Cash Runway Calculator, with one keyword: “RUNWAY”. Each one also carries the proof already on your profile: 15 years at Macquarie, J.P. Morgan and CBA, and US$5.4bn of closed deals.

Every banner and Featured tile, full size, ready to upload.

Cash Runway Calculator, dashboard

Cash Runway Calculator

Live at cashflow.dignano.co and linked from your Tools page. They put in the numbers from their last Appendix 5B and it shows their quarters of funding (item 8.7), the quarter they cross the 2-quarter threshold, when the cash runs out, and the raise they'd need. It runs in the browser and stores nothing.

The dashboard picture uses sample numbers (A$1.8m cash) so it looks filled in. They aren't a client's figures.

The one-shot DM

Send this to anyone who likes or comments on one of your posts, or anyone you've just connected with. Swap the highlighted bits for each person.

Your message

Hey [FIRST NAME], I'm about to head down for a swim and wanted to send this before I forget.

I saw you [liked / commented on] my post about [TOPIC] (or: thanks for connecting!), so I wanted to properly say hi.

I'm Romano. I run Dignano. I build the financial model an ASX miner takes into a capital raise, the one investors, lenders and model auditors pull apart line by line.

Your profile reminded me of [CLIENT NAME / an ASX lithium developer] I worked with [earlier this year].

[RESULT, e.g.: Days before their announcement, the ASX rejected the 40-year forecast in their model. They were already in a trading halt. We rebuilt it to a 25-year mine life in under 24 hours, and their A$7M raise went through in February.]

It works because I spent 15 years at Macquarie, J.P. Morgan and CBA writing the papers that credit committees read. So the model answers their questions before they ask them.

Right now I'm offering [THE OFFER, e.g.: a free 24-hour read. Send me your project overview and current model, and within 24 hours I'll tell you where your numbers will get challenged].

As you can imagine, the headline NPV isn't a big fan of me haha.

Anyway, I really need to get in the water before [the wind comes up].

Would you like me to walk you through it? I've got [TIME 1] or [TIME 2] free tomorrow.

If not, no biggie. Happy to just send you my Cash Runway Calculator instead. You put in the numbers from your last 5B and it shows how many quarters of cash you have left and the raise you'd need.

Nice to meet you!

Cheers,
Romano

What goes in each gap

  • [TOPIC]: the post they reacted to. For a new connection, use “thanks for connecting!”.
  • [CLIENT NAME] + [RESULT]: a real client who looks like this person. The lithium halt works for most juniors: keep it as “an ASX lithium developer” unless the client is happy to be named.
  • [THE OFFER]: the example is the free 24-hour read already in your About. If you'd rather offer the 5-day model health check, put that in with its price.
  • The times: two real slots tomorrow, in their time zone.
Before it goes live

Three quick checks

  • Pick mining for the headline. Your current headline and banner say “resources, property & infrastructure”. All five options lead with ASX mining, because that's what your posts have been about since early September and it's the room your calculator is built for. Property and infrastructure can stay in your About.
  • Nobody's details are captured. The calculator is open, so a “RUNWAY” DM is the only way you learn who used it. That's fine for LinkedIn, but if you want names, add an email step before “Download Report”.
  • Check the deal wording. Option 4 names Qantas, Sydney Airport and Boral because your website lists them as deals you worked on at the banks. Make sure you're comfortable with them on your banner.
